Hays has partnered with a full-service architecture & interior design firm specializing in hospitality and interiors projects who is looking for a Production Lead/ Senior Architectural Technologist to join their team. Your new role

This role is responsible for leading the preparation and coordination of construction documents across multiple projects, ensuring consistency, quality, and accuracy of AutoCAD drawings in alignment with office standards. The position oversees the development, maintenance, and enforcement of CAD standards, templates, and best practices, while resolvingplex technical and constructability issues in close collaboration with architects and consultants. Responsibilities include quality control reviews prior to issuance, consultant coordination, and the integration of multi‑disciplinary documents.

The role supports projects through all phases, from schematic design and design development to construction documentation and construction administration, while also contributing to project planning, resourcing, and overall production strategies.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 10 years of architectural or interiors experience, with required exposure to hospitality, interior design, and tenant improvement projects. An Architectural Technology Diploma (or equivalent) is required, along with strong AutoCAD proficiency;
Revit experience is considered an asset. This individual has demonstrated experience leading and mentoring technologists or production teams, managing workloads, and delivering projects from conception throughpletion. Strongmunication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset are essential, as the role involves providing technical guidance, training, and ongoing support to ensure efficient project delivery and continuous improvement in documentation practices.
