Expert Airport Design Specialist

Join Calgary Airports as an Airport Design Specialist in this full-time hybrid role. Drive the development of designs and standards that shape terminal and airside areas for optimal functionality and aesthetics.

With a focus on maintaining and evolving Calgary Airports’ design vision, you will work closely with teams and consultants to develop technical specifications and thematic plans. You will oversee compliance of designs with organizational goals, ensuring high-quality passenger spaces.

Your role is essential in driving collaboration among stakeholders to achieve cohesive infrastructure project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage thematic design plans and technical documentation

• Evaluate project submissions for design compliance

• Offer expert guidance during planning and early design

• Facilitate stakeholder alignment on design intentions

• Attend site meetings to address design specifics

Requirements:

• 6–8 years of experience in architectural or related design

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or similar field

• Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure projects

• Experience developing design standards and guidelines

• Bilingual in English and French is a plus
