Drafting Supervisor at NuVista Homes

As the Drafting Supervisor, you'll report directly to the Vice-President and oversee the drafting team's activities. Key responsibilities include creating accurate drawings, ensuring compliance with codes, and collaborating with clients to finalize construction plans. You will also track projects, mentor drafters, and provide support for marketing efforts with precise renderings and drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create complete drawings including elevations and building materials

• Ensure drawings comply with all building codes and developer needs

• Review design layouts and site plans for neighborhood placements

• Collaborate with clients and consultants for construction plans

• Oversee building permit applications and track project statuses

Requirements:

• Diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory drafting experience

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Soft Plan, and Revit software

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Satisfactory criminal record check verification
