Interior Design Technologist/Architectural Technologist

Location:

Calgary, Alberta

Salary: $70k+ and up, depending on experience, plus benefits and bonus

Other Titles:
Interior Technologist, Architectural Technician, Drafter, Technical Architect / Building Technologist, Design Technologist, Interiors Technologist

• Work on all phases of interior production, including high‑level design and drawing of interior details.
• Provide input into design development, production, detailing, interior detailing, construction documents, development permits, submittals and tender, city liaison.
• Assist in project management and support junior staff.
• Engage in a variety of projects across sectors such as commercial, public, mixed‑use, and multi‑family.

• 5–13 years of experience (intermediate to senior level).
• Strong technical skills in designing details, interior detailing, producing full working drawing packages, construction documents, and development permits.
• Excellent Revit skills.
• Experience in retail, commercial, public, hospitality, or similar project types is an asset.
• Ability to work independently as well as in teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a dedicated work ethic.
