Digital Construction Coordinator

Join Bird as a Digital Construction Coordinator in Calgary, AB, overseeing Virtual Design and Construction (VDC)/Building Information Modeling (BIM) operations. You'll manage project coordination to improve accuracy and efficiency.

This critical role reports to the Digital Construction Manager and necessitates hands-on experience with VDC/BIM processes, primarily in Revit and Navisworks. Your responsibilities will include facilitating model accuracy, leading coordination with consultants, and implementing schedule visualization workflows. A background in construction or engineering is preferred to ensure project goals are met promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee VDC/BIM deployment on-site

• Lead coordination meetings among stakeholders

• Assist in developing and executing BIM Execution Plans

• Train project staff on VDC/BIM workflows

• Maintain models for structural and architectural elements

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture

• 3 years' experience with VDC/BIM software

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
