Contribute to innovative projects at GGA-Architecture as an Intermediate Architectural Technologist in Calgary. Play a crucial role in the technical phases of design and construction.
As a part of our expanding team, the Intermediate Architectural Technologist will work under the supervision of experienced professionals at GGA-Architecture. This role requires expertise in construction documentation, coordination, and mentorship within the architectural technology field. You will be engaged in project phases that matter, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive Contract Documents and Design Development Drawings
• Mentor junior technologists while managing smaller projects
• Perform quality control procedures and code analysis
• Coordinate with consultants for project optimization
• Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all tasks
Requirements:
• Architectural Technology Diploma is mandatory
• 5-7 years of relevant architectural experience
• Strong skills in Revit and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with building codes and envelope detailing
• Ability to work under deadlines and with project leads
