The Town of Banff is seeking a skilled and organized graduate for the Planning and Environment Department. This intern role focuses on implementing the Heritage Resource Action Plan and enhancing community understanding of architectural history. Your creative input will be essential in actively engaging with stakeholders and facilitating policy development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research heritage topics for presentation to others
• Support development of policies on built heritage
• Help implement the Heritage Resource Action Plan
• Utilize knowledge of architectural history for projects
• Engage the community in heritage discussions and initiatives
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in related fields
• Familiarity with heritage conservation practices
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Previous experience in report writing is a plus
• Effective research abilities in heritage studies
