Ultimate Renovations is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to award-winning residential transformations while working alongside a collaborative and experienced design and production team. In this role, you’ll help bring our clients’ visions to life by creating thoughtful, innovative designs and producing detailed technical drawings and compelling 3D renderings.

With over 45 years of experience delivering exceptional renovations, we’re proud of the creativity, care, and expertise behind every project.

• Work closely with our design and production teams to translate renovation requests and site measurements into technical drawings and 3D renderings
• Revise drawings and renderings to reflect changes in scope, selections, or design direction throughout the design phase
• Produce pre-production 3D renderings based on plans and post-construction photos
• Prepare and submit Building and Development Permit applications

• A technical certification in Architectural Technologies from a recognized institution
• 2+ years of design and drafting experience is an asset but not required (residential experience is a strong asset)
• Proficiency with Chief Architect software is an asset but not required
• Experience collaborating with designers and project managers and incorporating multiple streams of feedback into finalized designs
• Previous customer-facing experience and site measurement experience (considered an asset)

• Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
• Your understanding of building codes and how they influence design decisions
• How you stay current with design trends and ensure your work remains fresh, relevant, and inspiring
