Technical Millwork Drafter

Position: Technical Millwork Drafter Role
Join a dedicated team as a Technical Millwork Drafter at First Choice Millwork, focused on transforming architectural concepts into precise drawings. Collaborate effectively to support commercial millwork projects.

In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers and Production staff to create accurate millwork drawings tailored to client specifications. Your expertise in AutoCAD and teamwork mindset will facilitate smooth transitions from design to manufacture. You will also play a key role in ensuring that all drawings adhere to the stringent quality standards set by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed millwork drawings with AutoCAD and Microvellum

• Work collaboratively with diverse teams for project success

• Analyze drawing conflicts and suggest solutions

• Keep drawing standards up to date and consistent

• Engage in internal and client drawing review processes

Requirements:

• Diploma in Drafting or a related discipline

• Experience with AutoCAD or comparable drafting software

• Knowledge of commercial millwork manufacturing preferred

• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately
