CAD Designer at Modine

Enhance your design skills as a CAD Designer with Modine in Calgary, Alberta. This role focuses on 2D and 3D modeling, detailed documentation, and exciting projects.

As part of Scott Springfield by Modine, you'll report to the Lead Designer and contribute to innovative air handling solutions. Your responsibilities include creating shop drawings and approval documents, supporting various projects simultaneously, and collaborating with production teams. This position is pivotal in delivering quality designs related to customer needs in thermal management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 2D and 3D CAD modeling across multiple projects

• Create detailed drawings and documentation for production

• Develop approval drawings and manage Bill of Materials

• Upload drawings to the PDM system for project tracking

• Collaborate closely with production and supplier teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design

• Proficient in Solid Edge, IronCAD, or AutoCAD

• Strong skills in 3D modeling and large assemblies

• Ability to resolve design issues independently

• Degree or diploma in mechanical design or related field
