Fluor Canada is seeking an experienced Intermediate Architect with a minimum of six years in designing medium to heavy industrial buildings. You will develop and review essential project documents, ensure compliance with Canadian building codes, and apply cost-effective execution techniques. Collaborating with engineering disciplines and client representatives, you will create effective designs in a comprehensive 3D model environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop project Scope of Services and baseline documents
• Review and create project specifications and building design criteria
• Coordinate designs for heavy industrial projects
• Collaborate across disciplines to complete building designs
• Check 2D and 3D models for accuracy
Requirements:
• Architectural degree from an accredited program
• Minimum 6 years of industrial building design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microstation
• Knowledge of Canadian building codes
• Effective communication skills with diverse audiences
