Attending Physician in Long-Term Care

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver medical care

• Attend the home weekly for resident clinical evaluations

• Document residents’ health records and medication reviews

• Provide guidance during outbreak management meetings

• Commit to continuing education in long-term care

Requirements:

• Licensed medical practitioner in Ontario

• Experience in long-term care preferred

• Knowledge of long-term care regulations

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

• Ability to build professional relationships with staff and families
