Associate Physician in Respiratory Medicine

Become a vital part of the Alberta Health Services team as an Associate Physician specializing in Respiratory Medicine at the Peter Lougheed Centre. Work collaboratively to deliver acute patient care and support.

In this full-time role, you will work under physician supervision alongside a multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include examining patients, developing treatment plans, documenting histories, and entering orders into the system. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments

• Develop treatment plans in consultation with supervising physicians

• Document patient histories and health data accurately

• Write and enter appropriate orders into the care system

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals within the multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an international school listed by FAIMER

• Experience in a discipline-specific postgraduate training program

• Passed MCQQE1 prior to application

• English proficiency with IELTS score of 7.0 or above

• Currency of practice within the last 3 years
