Family Physician Locum Position

The Calgary Foothills PCN Coordinated Attachment program seeks a dedicated physician for locum coverage. This position may lead to ongoing placement within a collaborative team that includes diverse healthcare professionals like nurse practitioners and social workers. You will provide essential care for patients facing chronic conditions, mental health issues, and social support needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care in a team-based environment

• Manage patients with chronic and complex health conditions

• Collaborate with nurses and mental health clinicians

• Participate in patient-centric care initiatives

• Engage with community partners for referral processes

Requirements:

• Valid medical license to practice in Alberta

• Experience in family medicine with complex cases

• Strong collaboration skills within a healthcare team

• Commitment to patient-centered care

• Availability for shifts from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays
