As part of the AHS team, previous international medical graduates will support acute care efforts at South Health Campus and others. Responsibilities include conducting physical examinations and collaborating with attending physicians to develop effective treatment strategies. Candidates are selected based on strong qualifications, ensuring a supportive environment from orientation onward.
Key Responsibilities:
• Examine patients and document their medical histories
• Work with supervising physicians on treatment planning
• Write and enter medical orders into patient systems
• Deliver acute care in a team setting
• Engage with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff
Requirements:
• Must have valid work eligibility in Canada
• Minimum IELTS score of 7.0 required
• Graduate of an accredited international medical school
• Completed at least one year of supervised training
• Passed the MCCQE Part I exam
Engage in meaningful patient interactions and care with AHS as an Associate Physician in Calgary.
