Step into a fulfilling Associate Physician role at Alberta Health Services in the Respiratory Medicine unit of the Peter Lougheed Centre. This full-time position is integral to patient care.
As part of a collaborative medical team, you will perform critical examinations and assist in developing treatment strategies under supervision. Responsibilities also include patient history documentation, order writing, and ensuring comprehensive patient care delivery. Support and training will be provided for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments and examinations of patients
• Create and maintain patient treatment plans
• Document histories and physical exam results carefully
• Write orders for treatment and input into systems
• Coordinate with a team of healthcare professionals
Requirements:
• Must have a medical degree from a recognized international medical school
• Completion of MCCQE1 required
• Proven currency in medical practice in past 3 years
• Proficiency in English through IELTS scores
• Experience in a Canadian health setting preferred
