As a Psychiatrist at The Alex, you are essential in providing holistic and inclusive psychiatric care. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outpatient psychiatric assessments and care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team
• Complete required Mental Health Act forms
• Address acute mental health concerns effectively
• Assist in quality improvement initiatives for the clinic
Requirements:
• Membership in good standing with Alberta's medical college
• Understanding of the Alberta Mental Health Act
• Demonstrated compassion for socioeconomically challenged clients
• Proficient with EMR and other health IT systems
• Background checks and references must be satisfactory
