The CAF is on the lookout for dedicated Physiatrists who will work directly with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care at the Canadian Forces Health Care Clinic. You'll have the opportunity to mentor other professionals and contribute to health policy development, ensuring consistent and effective patient care delivery both nationally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer consultative services to Canadian Armed Forces members
• Act as a subject matter expert on rehabilitation techniques
• Utilize video technology for remote consultations
• Mentor and train healthcare colleagues
• Develop health care policies for the CAF
Requirements:
• Must be a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
• Hold a current license in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Completion of Basic Military Officer training necessary
• Potential need to relocate as part of Regular Force work
• Experience working in multidisciplinary health care settings
