Med Gar Family & Walk in Clinic is a new, modern medical clinic opening in Calgary, Alberta
, and we are looking for an experienced and motivated Medical Director to join our team.
Medical Director – Family & Walk-In Clinic

Clinic Opening: November 20, 2026
Part-Time / Flexible Arrangement

ROLEThe Medical Director will work collaboratively with the clinic leadership team and physicians to support high-quality, safe, patient-centred medical care and help establish clinical standards and processes for the new clinic.
- Providing clinical leadership and guidance
- Supporting physicians and clinical staff
- Promoting quality and patient safety
- Supporting development and review of clinical policies and procedures
- Supporting appropriate clinical documentation and practice standards
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborating with clinic management on clinical operations
- Helping maintain a professional and collaborative clinical environment
- Supporting compliance with applicable Alberta healthcare and professional standards
The successful candidate should:
- Hold a valid medical licence to practise in Alberta
- Be registered and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
- Have experience in Family Medicine / General Practice
- Have strong clinical and communication skills
- Demonstrate leadership and collaborative abilities
- Be committed to patient-centred care and quality improvement
