We are searching for two teachers who will act as in‑house substitute teachers throughout the division to commence the first day of the  school year. You will be responsible for covering teacher duties and responsibilities when the teacher is absent. Assignments will be allocated by the school principal and will be at various grade levels and subject matter. You will follow the regular teachers' plan for optimal learning and student participation, and you will manage the classroom effectively to encourage a positive learning environment.

Preference will be given to an applicant with previous teaching experience at multiple levels.

These positions will be employed under part‑time (0.5 FTE) probationary contracts, identifying a central location, however, travel throughout the division is required on a regular basis. Therefore, you must hold a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license, along with valid insurance and a reliable vehicle for travel. A fleet vehicle will be provided whenever possible. You must also hold a valid Alberta teaching certificate.
