Whatyou will be doing
As a certified teacher, you will collaborate with children and parents, engaging actively to develop learning environments that encourage student success. You uphold the principles of inclusion and diversity within our schools and childcare programs, committing to integrity and fairness in supporting every child's development. You will work under the supervision of a Kindergarten Supervisor, who is accountable to the Educational Supports Manager.
Job Responsibilities- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Serve within a Professional Learning Community.
- Develop Individualized Program Plans (IPPs) for our PUF (Program Unit Funding) program and execute strategies that aid Educational Assistants and classroom teachers in supporting the children under your care.
- Adhere to the Alberta Education Curriculum and our Standards of Excellence, teaching according to the Program of Studies. Customize and adjust the curriculum to accommodate the diverse needs of all students, enabling them to achieve their utmost potential.
- Foster relationships with children, families, and center staff through effective communication.
- Work collaboratively with families, therapists, and other stakeholders.

- Minimum of Bachelor of Education degree with either an interim or permanent teaching certificate from Alberta Education.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
