Assistant Professor, Marketing

About the Role

Assistant Professor – Marketing (tenure‑track). Commencement July 1, 2026 (subject to final budgetary approval).

Work pattern: teaching/service (TS). Option to change patterns after tenure.

• A terminal degree in marketing or a closely related field is preferred; a minimum of a Master’s degree is required.
• Progressively senior experience in marketing or related fields is preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
• Marketing expertise to teach introductory and senior‑level courses.
• Ability to initiate and develop new course material and other curricular content at the undergraduate level; experience developing courses is preferred.
• Additional expertise in areas such as the impact of technology, AI and emerging trends in marketing.
• Capacity to initiate and actively collaborate with colleagues, community and industry partners in work‑integrated and experiential learning approaches at the undergraduate level.

• Cover letter describing interest and fit with department, explicitly stating which courses you qualify to teach (one to two pages).
• Teaching philosophy statement (one page).
• Evidence of teaching excellence (e.g., student evaluations, teaching awards).
• Contact information for three references.
