Spanish Teacher

Tanbridge Academy, located in Calgary, provides a high-quality academic program for students from Junior Kindergarten (JK) through Grade

Tanbridge combines rigorous academics with specialized sports programs in hockey, soccer, dance, and equestrian for students starting in Grade 3. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish Teacher for a full-time, on-site role at our Calgary, AB campus. The Spanish Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Spanish lessons to students, assessing and monitoring progress, creating innovative lesson plans, and assisting in the development of curriculum. The role also involves fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment that supports student growth and language acquisition.

Collaboration with colleagues and participation in school events and activities is an integral part of this role.

• Proven expertise in Spanish Teaching, including fluency in written and verbal Spanish communication
• Competence in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design effective and dynamic coursework
• Experience in Teaching and Tutoring students with diverse learning needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Certification or degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field is preferred
• Familiarity with instructional technologies and innovative teaching methods is an asset
