The University of Lethbridge (uLethbridge) is Iniskim, or Sacred Buffalo Stone, and is located in the heart of traditional Blackfoot Confederacy territory in southern Alberta. Thanks to a determined and forward-thinking group of citizens who believed southern Alberta warranted its own university, ULethbridge opened its doors in 1967 and established our home in west Lethbridge. In 1996, the University opened its Calgary Campus.

ULethbridge has supported the region, Alberta and Canada through teaching, research, and outreach activities, and has prepared thousands of graduates to make important contributions in communities around the world.

Each year, ULethbridge welcomes approximately 8,000 undergraduate and graduate students from nearly 100 countries to our campuses in Lethbridge and Calgary. Today, approximately 55,000 ULethbridge alumni are making important contributions in communities across the globe.

The University of Lethbridge is seeking an inspiring leader for the Dean, Dhillon School of Business
. Reporting to the Provost and Vice-President (Academic), the Dean will provide strategic, visible, and values-driven academic and administrative leadership to expand the reputation and profile of the Dhillon School of Business in both Lethbridge and Calgary and working collaboratively with a strong team of Deans across the University of Lethbridge, advance a shared institutional vision. As a nurturing and supportive advocate for the School, the Dean will promote excellence and integrity in research and scholarly activity, while fostering a climate that encourages faculty and students to identify and pursue excellence. The Dean will champion the School’s distinctive identity, and drive a clear, forward-looking vision and strategy. As a collaborative and decisive member of the University’s senior leadership team, the Dean will articulate the School’s evolving value proposition while supporting existing School directions in digital transformation, innovation, and sustainability, upholding accreditation standards, strengthening the School’s reputation, and advancing graduate programming.
