Elementary Generalist Teachers (Al-Amal Academy)

Competition #PLSD-2198. We are currently accepting teacher applications for a variety of positions for the  school year at Al Amal Academy for Kindergarten through Grade 6.

We are looking for teachers eager to inspire young learners, bring creativity into the classroom, and contribute meaningfully to a school environment rooted in respect, curiosity, and spiritual growth.

• Design and deliver dynamic, hands‑on learning experiences across all core subjects.
• Foster a nurturing space where every child feels valued, supported, and motivated to thrive.
• Guide students through key early learning milestones while delivering the Alberta Education curriculum and promoting foundational literacy, numeracy, and social‑emotional development within a caring and faith‑centered setting.
• Collaborate with families and colleagues, integrating technology and diverse instructional strategies to meet the needs of all learners.

• Hold a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.
• Be willing to provide a Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check satisfactory to Prairie Land School Division prior to commencement.
• Meet the Alberta Education curriculum requirements for Kindergarten through Grade 6.
• Must be able to quote competition number PLSD-2198 on application.
