Position OverviewTerm certain Sessional Instructor position for Fall 2026 in Educational Psychology. Responsibilities include teaching online and on‑campus graduate courses integral to the graduate programs. The term runs from August 24 to December 18, 2026.
Course DescriptionEDPS 654 – Understanding Mental Health in Children and Adolescents. Delivery:
Online. Examines the field of cognitive neuroscience from an assessment framework, exploring evolving understanding of neuro‑behavioural disorders and new testing techniques and practices available to assess neuropsychological characteristics in both clinical and research settings.
- A completed doctorate in psychology or a related field, registration as a psychologist.
- Evidence of successful teaching and leadership experience in workplace, university or school settings.
- Demonstrated experience in online/distance education for courses delivered online or in a blended format.
- Capacity to work effectively in a collaborative culture.
- Knowledge and understanding of the programs and specializations in Educational Psychology will also be considered as assets for the sessional teaching positions.
