As a part-time employee at Invermere Open Doors School, you'll play a vital role in linking students, families, and educational staff while working towards Truth and Reconciliation goals. Your responsibilities will include enhancing educational plans for Indigenous students and celebrating their successes with their families and communities. This position emphasizes the importance of culturally relevant teaching and the establishment of positive student relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate to adjust plans for Indigenous learners

• Support student achievement through community engagement

• Maintain accurate information in Student Information Systems

• Facilitate transition planning for new and graduating students

• Attend conferences to encourage family involvement

Requirements:

• Completion of relevant Indigenous education program

• Experience working within K-12 systems

• Valid driver’s license

• Proven leadership in educational settings
