Position: Full-Time Teacher - Integrated Student Support Team
Position Overview
Chinook’s Edge School Division invites applications for a full‑time teaching position on the Integrated Student Support Team effective the first day of the 2026‑2027 school year to June 30, 2027. This role supports schools through a division‑wide learning model focused on building staff capacity in the areas of inclusion, complex student needs, differentiation, social‑emotional regulation, and student support. Working alongside Student Support Leads, school teams and Integrated Student Support Team members, the teacher provides coaching, professional learning, modelling and implementation support to help schools develop sustainable practices that promote student success.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with student support leads, school teams and Integrated Student Support Team members to coach staff and provide implementation support.

Facilitate professional learning and modelling to build staff capacity in inclusion, differentiation and social‑emotional regulation.

Support schools in implementing evidence‑based practices for diverse learners.

Build relationships with adults and school teams and strengthen inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications

Valid Alberta Teacher Certificate.

Strong knowledge of inclusive education, collaborative problem‑solving, and capacity‑building approaches.

5+ years of teaching experience preferred.

Skills in working with adults, facilitating professional learning and supporting school teams.

Strong communication, relationship‑building and evidence‑based practice implementation skills.

Ability to provide criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
