Course:
ENSF 612 – Engineering Large Scale Data Analytics Systems (Fall 2026, September 1 – December 31, 2026).
Sources and characteristics of large scale data, i.e., “big data”; large scale data analysis; benefits of large scale data analysis to various industry domains; scalable data analysis frameworks; large scale data algorithms in selected application domains.
Course ScheduleLecture:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 am – 9:50 am.
The successful candidate will have earned at least a master’s degree in electrical, computer, or software engineering and a demonstrated background in the subject matter related to this course. The candidate must also have a very good previous teaching performance or show the potential for very good to excellent teaching ability. It is strongly desired that the candidate is registered as a Professional Engineer in a Canadian province.
