Position: Training Advisor for Safety Team
Join Finning Canada as a permanent full-time Training and Competency Advisor with a focus on learning management and compliance, based in either Edmonton or Calgary.

In this role, you will enhance the Environment, Health, and Safety Team’s efforts by managing training records, coordinating sessions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your expertise in LMS platforms like Workday and Bis Trainer will be crucial in creating effective training experiences and monitoring performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain training records within the LMS

• Organize and coordinate instructor-led and virtual training sessions

• Track training costs and manage enrollments with third-party providers

• Ensure all training documentation meets compliance requirements

• Partner with leaders to identify skills gaps and propose training initiatives

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in training coordination and LMS

• Proficiency with LMS platforms (e.g., Workday, Bis Trainer)

• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles

• Experience with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
