We are currently recruiting for casual hourly Minor Officials for Athletics and Recreation. The focus for this position will be to provide support for SAIT Trojan athletic events. Minor Officials will be responsible for home game engagement, enhancement, and promotion.

Minimum Qualifications
Completion of Grade 12 or an equivalent combination of education and experienceParticipation in sportsPrevious customer service experienceFirst Aid and CPR certification (asset)Respect in Sport certification (asset)Ability to travel within CalgaryAvailability to work evenings and weekendsPreferred Qualifications
Current students or alumni of SAIT’s ICT programs (Digital Media, Communications, or Production)Previous event experienceKnowledge of sport rules, officiating, or scorekeepingExperience in conflict resolutionCurrent SAIT students preferredExperience in roles such as camera operator, broadcaster/commentator, video production (pre-roll), scorekeeper, sport statistician, goal judge, or content creatorSkills & Competencies
