Position: Carya Community Facilitator in East Village
Join Carya as a Community Wellness Facilitator in East Village, Calgary, where you will develop inclusive and creative community programs. Support well-being through intergenerational connections in this full-time opportunity.

In this role, you will be instrumental in planning and delivering various wellness and recreation programs. The facilitator will adapt activities to meet the unique needs of participants and build lasting relationships with community members. Evening and weekend work will be necessary to effectively engage with diverse groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate arts-based and wellness programs for all ages

• Create a seasonal program calendar reflecting community interests

• Promote programs via outreach and events

• Build inclusive experiences for older adults and families

• Collaborate with team members for responsive programming

Requirements:

• Educational background in human services or related experience

• Minimum of 2–3 years in community programming

• Skills in group facilitation and interpersonal communication

• Experience with diverse populations including families

• Must hold a valid driver’s license and vehicle
