Sessional Instructor in Educational Research

Teach graduate courses at the University of Calgary as a Sessional Instructor for EDER 619.12 this Winter 2027. Qualified candidates with a PhD or EdD are encouraged to apply.
The Werklund School of Education invites applications for a term certain position running from January 4 to April 27, 2027. This role requires successful applicants to teach online and on-campus courses in Educational Research and Educational Psychology. Demonstrated leadership and teaching experience, particularly in online settings, is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach graduate courses including EDER 619.12 online

• Deliver engaging online and on-campus instructional content

• Foster collaborative learning environments for students

• Provide mentorship and support to graduate students

• Contribute to curriculum development and course enhancement
Requirements:

• Doctorate in education or related field

• Proven teaching and leadership experience

• Experience in online/distance education

• Understanding of Educational Research programs

• Ability to work effectively in collaborative environments
