Life Skills Teacher Position

Position: Full-Time Life Skills Teacher Position
Holy Spirit Academy in High River, AB, seeks a dedicated Life Skills and Learning Support Teacher for a full-time role beginning August 24, 2026. This position supports student development in a faith-based environment.

As an interim teacher, you will serve around 500 students in Kindergarten through Grade 6, ensuring their individual learning needs are met. We welcome Catholic candidates who share a passion for education rooted in Christian values. The role is supported by funding aimed at reducing class sizes, enabling personalized student interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop individualized support plans for students

• Coordinate with teachers for effective classroom strategies

• Foster a nurturing environment for student growth

• Engage with parents to leverage community resources

• Integrate Catholic values into educational practices

Requirements:

• Teaching certification valid in Alberta

• Dedication to Catholic education principles

• Experience in special education or learning support

• Additional qualifications in Catholic Education preferred

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
