St. Francis of Assisi Academy, located in DeWinton, invites dedicated educators to apply for the position of Grade 6 Homeroom Teacher. The role lasts from August 24, 2026, until June 30, 2027, with possible extension. We are particularly interested in Catholic candidates who can contribute to our Christian community. Preferred candidates may hold additional certifications in Catholic Education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging sixth-grade lesson plans

• Create an inclusive classroom that promotes learning

• Monitor and assess student academic performance

• Partner with colleagues to enhance educational experiences

• Engage with parents to ensure student success

Requirements:

• Full-time commitment from August 2026 to June 2027

• Alignment with Catholic educational philosophy

• Current teaching certificate

• Previous teaching experience preferred

• Certification in Catholic Education is advantageous
