You should possess 3-5 years of relevant experience in an academic setting, showcasing strong analytical and decision-making skills. This role emphasizes mentorship and collaboration to improve library access for all users.

• Implement changes to metadata for better usability

• Champion inclusive practices in metadata and cataloguing

• Coach coworkers on industry standards

• Collaborate on cross-unit library projects

• Engage with diverse formats and cataloguing standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree plus a Master’s in Library Science

• 3-5 years of experience in academic libraries

• Strong grasp of MARC, RDA, and related standards

• Experience in training staff in metadata practices

• Knowledge of library platforms like Alma is beneficial
