English and Social Studies Teacher

Position: Dynamic English and Social Studies Teacher
Be a part of Edge School's mission as a full-time English and Social Studies teacher beginning August 20, 2026. We are looking for an energetic educator to inspire our students and enhance their learning journey.

This role requires a collaborative approach, working with students, parents, and staff, while demonstrating proficiency in Alberta’s Program of Studies. Your experience in teaching at both high school and middle school levels will play a crucial role. Candidates should be well-versed in supporting student-athletes and utilizing technology for a student-centered experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English and Social Studies at high school and middle school

• Apply Alberta’s Program of Studies in your lessons

• Support student-athletes effectively

• Collaborate with faculty and engage families

• Leverage technology to create interactive lessons

Requirements:

• Experienced in high school and middle school teaching

• Knowledge of Alberta’s educational curriculum
