Job Description
Department of Electrical and Software Engineering at the University of Calgary seeks a Sessional Instructor for the Fall 2026 semester (September 1 – December 31 2026) to teach ENSF 614 – Advanced System Analysis and Software Design.
Course DescriptionAdvanced topics in system analysis, system thinking, requirements engineering, quality software design, design patterns, and system‑level software analysis.
Course ScheduleLecture:
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:30 am – 10:45 am
Labs:
Wednesday, 3:00 pm – 3:50 pm
Minimum:
Master’s degree in electrical, computer, or software engineering.
Required:
Demonstrated background in the subject matter of the course and a strong teaching record or potential for excellent teaching performance.
Preferred:
Registered as a Professional Engineer in a Canadian province.
