This sessional position is based in the Taylor Family Digital Library, where you'll focus on reference, consultation, and instruction related to cartographic resources. By collaborating with GIS professionals and academic staff, you'll develop specialized workshops and instructional materials while adapting to the latest trends in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert reference services for cartographic data use
• Maintain cutting-edge knowledge of cartographic resource trends
• Create specialized instructional materials and workshops
• Offer research consultation services focused on maps
• Assist with grant applications and associated projects
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in librarianship or equivalent
• Experience in library instruction and service orientation
• Quick learner of new technologies and trends
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong oral and written communication skills
