Position: SAIT Instructor for Refrigeration Mechanics
Join SAIT as an Instructor for the Refrigeration Mechanic apprenticeship program and inspire future tradespeople. The role emphasizes hands-on, practical teaching supported by your industry expertise.

As a dedicated instructor, you will play a key role in educating apprentices r responsibilities will include creating engaging lessons and evaluation strategies tailored to student needs. You'll support learners’ outcomes and engage in various departmental activities to promote the program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver practical instruction for all apprenticeship years

• Create and adapt teaching and assessment materials

• Offer constructive feedback and support to students

• Participate in SAIT’s Open House and other events

• Collaborate in a collegial team environment

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Certificate in Refrigeration required

• Five years’ experience in diverse environments

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Experience with adult education preferred
