Coordinate the Internationally Educated Midwives Bridging Program at Mount Royal University with a part-time hybrid setup. Provide essential support and guidance to midwives seeking registration in Alberta.
In this specialized coordinator role, you will oversee program delivery, from student intake to assessment coordination. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, faculty, and clinical partners. Your leadership will help shape the academic success of internationally educated midwives, ensuring they meet professional standards and receive necessary support throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate partnerships with midwifery organizations
• Act as the primary contact for educational collaboration
• Oversee admissions processes and evaluations
• Monitor learner progression and provide academic support
• Assist in curriculum development and program evaluation
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in midwifery or relevant field
• Registration or eligibility for registration as a Midwife in Canada
• Practical experience in midwifery
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks
• Experience with learner management systems
