The Department of Political Science invites applications for sessional instructors to teach the following courses for Fall 2026 and Winter 2027.

- INDG 397.16 - Indigenous Film & Adaptation - LEC 01 – Topics in Canadian Indigenous Studies: MW 2:00 PM – 3:15 PM (In Person)
- PhD in Indigenous Studies or a related field; strong candidates with an MA may also be considered
- Experience teaching undergraduate courses at a university level
Note: Fall INDG 201 Lec 02 and Winter INDG 397 Lec 01 are restricted to students in the Indigenous Studies Access Program (ISAP).

B. As per the Collective Agreement, the Faculty of Arts adheres to the right of first refusal terms (Section 23.12.1 and 23.12.2) for Sessional Appointments.
All Applicants must provide a letter specifying the course(s) and session(s) of interest (in order of preference), outlining your qualifications to teach each course. Applicants who have taught in the Department within the past two years need not provide anything further.
New applicants must submit:
- A current CV containing relevant teaching experience (e.g., courses taught, textbooks used, where and when taught)
- Names and contact information for 3 potential referees; and
- Teaching evaluations (if available)
