Shape future educators at the University of Calgary with a Sessional Instructor role focusing on Educational Research for Winter 2027. Teach graduate courses, including Leading for Transformation, both online and on-campus.
The Werklund School of Education seeks a qualified Sessional Instructor for the term from January 4 to April 27, 2027. Candidates must hold a PhD or EdD in education and have a successful teaching and leadership background. Experience in online education and familiarity with graduate programs in Educational Research is beneficial to promote collaborative learning and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach graduate online and on-campus courses
• Deliver EDER 689.88 Leading for Transformation
• Support students in their learning journey
• Collaborate with faculty for program enhancement
• Develop course materials and assessments
Requirements:
• PhD or EdD in education or related field
• Proven teaching and leadership experience
• Expertise in online/distance education
• Ability to foster collaboration
• Knowledge of Educational Research programs
Contribute to the educational community while enriching the graduate programs at the University of Calgary.
