The Werklund School of Education, Graduate Programs, at the University of Calgary invites applications for a term certain Sessional Instructor position for Winter 2027. The term runs from January 4 to April 27, 2027.

These instructors will teach online and on campus graduate courses that are integral parts of the graduate programs in Educational Research and Educational Psychology. Sessional instructors will teach courses such as EDER 619.12 – Leading an Evidence-Informed Learning Culture, delivered online.

Position Requirements
  • A completed doctorate in education or a related area.
  • Evidence of successful teaching and leadership experience in school, university, or workplace settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in online/distance education.
  • Capacity to work effectively in a collaborative culture.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the graduate programs and specializations in Educational Research are considered assets.
