Head of School Position at STS

Take the helm as Head of School at Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School starting in Summer 2027. Champion a culture of inquiry-based learning within a vibrant IB community.
STS is in search of a values-driven head to lead approximately 800 students in a holistic educational framework. This role demands inspiring leadership that fosters collaboration among students, faculty, and families while advancing the Flourish 2031 strategic initiative. The Head will serve as the primary ambassador for STS within educational communities and ensure the long-term viability of programming and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead as the chief educational officer of STS

• Set a collaborative tone for the school community

• Execute strategic goals outlined in Flourish 2031

• Nurture relationships with donors and alumni community

• Support high-performing educational staff and leadership team
Requirements:

• Proven track record in educational leadership

• Commitment to holistic and inclusive education

• Excellent at building collaborative relationships

• Desired experience in fundraising and capital efforts
