Position: Full-Time Multi-Subject Teacher Needed
Location: drumheller

Verdant Valley Colony School seeks a dedicated full-time Teacher starting August 26, 2026, to deliver the Alberta curriculum for Kindergarten through Grade
8. Shape curious minds in a multi-subject classroom setting.
Ideal candidates will support learners through interactive and developmentally appropriate teaching approaches. Your expertise in implementing effective strategies and using technology for instruction will play an integral part in student development. Proven classroom management and flexibility in teaching styles will be essential to meet diverse student needs in a multi-grade environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach the Alberta curriculum effectively to K-8 students

• Foster curiosity and a love of learning among pupils

• Implement various teaching strategies to engage students

• Maintain a positive, supportive classroom environment

• Adapt instruction to cater to different learning styles
Requirements:

• Hold a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Experience in ESL teaching and multi-grade settings

• Strong communication and management skills

• Background in Hutterite Colony teaching (asset)

• Compliant background checks before employment
