This appointment spans from August 2026 to August 2027, focusing on teaching and service within midwifery programs. Engage in course revisions, provide student guidance, and maintain standards of midwifery training. Fetal Health Surveillance qualifications are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive midwifery courses
• Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement
• Ensure compliance with Alberta's midwifery registration
• Mentor students during their practical experiences
• Potential research role available if TSS pursued
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Midwifery or a related field
• A PhD is preferred but not essential
• Minimum 5 years of active midwifery experience
• Instructor qualifications in key areas
• Registered Midwife status required with regulatory body
Make a significant contribution to the education of future midwives and foster excellence in midwifery practice.
