As a Sessional Instructor at the University of Calgary, you will teach ACCT 217 LEC 01. Classes are scheduled for Monday and Wednesday mornings with Friday tutorials. The focus lies on teaching essential financial concepts while collaborating closely with the Course Coordinator to ensure course alignment and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct lectures and tutorials for ACCT 217 classes

• Collaborate with the Course Coordinator on curricula

• Utilize tools such as Zoom and D2L for lectures

• Enhance student capability in financial accounting

• Evaluate student achievement and provide feedback

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree relevant to accounting

• CPA designation is required

• Experience in post-secondary accounting instruction

• Previous teaching of ACCT 217 is highly valued

• Familiarity with online instruction tools is a plus
