Passionate about corporate governance? The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary is hiring a Sessional Instructor for Fall 2026 to teach students about ethical decision-making and governance systems.
This teaching position focuses on the MGST 451 course, running from September 1 to December 4, 2026. The appointed instructor will prepare students for registrar scheduled exams and emphasize the significance of strong governance frameworks. Applicants must have prior teaching experience in a post-secondary institution and will ideally bring experience in digital teaching platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct MGST 451, delivering comprehensive course content
• Foster discussions around corporate governance issues
• Prepare students for key examinations
• Implement digital education tools for enhanced learning
• Promote diversity and inclusion in the classroom setting
Requirements:
• MBA or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience in post-secondary teaching
• Knowledge of Zoom, D2L, and other platforms
• History of teaching both in-person and online
