Join the University of Calgary as a Sessional Instructor teaching EDER 619.24 during Winter 2027. Engage students in professional learning through a combination of online and in-person instruction.
This term certain position at the Werklund School of Education runs from January 4 to April 27, 2027. Candidates must hold a PhD or EdD and demonstrate experience in educational leadership and online teaching. The course will address vital topics like adult learning theory and creating collaborative environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct graduate-level courses on professional development
• Prepare and engage students in meaningful learning experiences
• Implement research-informed leadership strategies
• Cultivate collaborative learning cultures
• Support student success and outcomes
Requirements:
• Completed doctorate in education or a related discipline
• Evidence of effective teaching and leadership
• Experience in online education methodologies
• Collaborative working skills
• Familiarity with Educational Research programs preferred
